1:27 Photography is a little confusing for a name. Unless you know the back story.
Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
When I started 1:27 Photography, I'd originally named it God's Image Photography. But I quickly realized that the name was very popular, and a little too ordinary. I wanted something unique, but still showed my faith values.
1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Then it hit me. Use the verse. After some prayer and flip flopping the name around, 1:27 Photography was born! It takes some explaining, but I think of that more as a ministry tool. When I'm asked what the name means or stands for, I can simply say exactly that. Opening up a new gateway to bring up the gospel to people who may not here it anywhere else.
1:27 Photography is more than just a photography service, it is a ministry.
